Free Static live at SENSORAMA at the Pinebox April 29th, 2023






Free Static will be collaborating with Video artist Josiah Martens in putting on SENSORAMA, April 29th, at 7:30pm at the Pinebox in Eugene, OR. This all ages event will also feature experimental artists Woke-Ass Messiah, CHEFKIRK, Mark Leahey, and Corn Xylophone.

Free Static performed in December 2022, and February 2023 at Epic Seconds in Eugene, OR. Both performances were recorded and we are working on a tape release in collaboration with Epic Seconds. Upcoming performance / EDME New Music Festival 2022 - Saturday, Oct 15th, 7pm




The performance will take place in the Farmer’s Pavillion at 8th and W Park street in downtown Eugene, OR, October 15th, 7:00-10:00PM. Other artists include Aine Nakamura, Isaac Paris, Mystic Elevator & M Denney. Free and open to the public.

Live score performance for Julia Oldham’s multimedia installation “View of the Red Forest” is a portrait of both the dilapidation and rebirth of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, combining large prints of windows looking out of abandoned buildings onto lush landscapes with video documentation of Oldham’s visit to the zone.
